Lost Arts is an invite-only creative community. These terms govern your membership and use of the platform. They’re written to be understood, not to obscure what you’re agreeing to.
By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
Lost Arts is for people 18 and older. Membership is by invitation only — we don’t accept open applications. If you’ve received an invitation and created an account, welcome.
Your membership gives you access to the Lost Arts platform — the community feed, project updates, sessions, channels, and other features we offer. Membership is personal and non-transferable.
Lost Arts reserves the right to add, change, or remove features over time. We’ll communicate meaningful changes to members before they take effect.
You own your work. Full stop.
When you post content on Lost Arts — project updates, images, comments, anything — you retain all ownership rights. By sharing it on the platform, you give Lost Arts a limited license to display and distribute that content to other members as part of the platform’s operation. We don’t claim ownership of your creative work, and we won’t use it for anything beyond running the platform without your explicit permission.
You’re responsible for what you post. By sharing content on Lost Arts, you represent that:
Lost Arts works because people show up with generosity and good faith. We don’t publish an exhaustive list of rules — we trust our members. But a few things are worth stating directly:
Lost Arts reserves the right to remove content or suspend members who violate these standards — at our discretion, and without notice if the situation warrants it.
Your work is yours. Our platform is ours.
The Lost Arts name, logo, design, and platform software are owned by Lost Arts, LLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from them without our written permission.
Nothing in these terms transfers any ownership of Lost Arts’ intellectual property to you, and nothing transfers ownership of your creative work to us.
We can suspend or terminate your membership if you violate these terms, fail to maintain your membership in good standing, or if we determine your presence is harmful to the community.
You can delete your account at any time from your settings. When you do, we’ll begin the deletion process immediately. Your personal information will be permanently removed within 7 days. Content you’ve shared with the community will be anonymized.
Upon termination, your access to the platform ends. We don’t offer refunds for unused membership periods.
We work hard to keep Lost Arts running reliably, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the platform offline for maintenance, updates, or circumstances outside our control. We’re not liable for any losses resulting from platform downtime.
The platform is provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, about its fitness for any particular purpose.
Lost Arts, LLC and its members, officers, and employees are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform — including lost data, lost profits, or any other losses — even if we’ve been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the platform is limited to the amount you’ve paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Lost Arts, LLC is a Delaware limited liability company. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these terms or your membership will be resolved exclusively in the Court of Chancery of the State of Delaware, or if that court lacks jurisdiction, in any Delaware state or federal court.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
If we make meaningful changes to these terms, we’ll notify members by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
